Butterfly Gardens Senior Infants 2026
In Science, the children in Senior Infants have been busy caring for their butterfly gardens. They enjoyed observing the amazing life cycle of a butterfly, watching tiny caterpillars transform into beautiful butterflies over a few weeks.
The children had great fun choosing names for their butterflies and eagerly checked on them each day. To celebrate the end of the project, each class released their butterflies into the summer sunshine in Swords. It was a wonderful experience and a fantastic way for the children to learn about nature and life cycles firsthand.
