Seachtain Na Gaeilge 2019
During the next few weeks, we have our annual schedule of exciting events planned to mark "Seachtain na Gaeilge".....drama, dancing, singing and concerts which no doubt the children will be reporting back on. Keep an eye on the site here in the coming days for photographic evidence of the childrens' (and teachers') efforts at celebrating our National Heritage. If it is possible for you, we encourage you to use whatever few (or many) words of Irish you may have with the children over the next month or so..."ar aghaidh libh go léir...!!"
The next school closure is around St. Patrick's Day in mid March. In addition to the closures as part of the existing annual calendar, we will also close on Thursday March 14th to facilitate a Staff in-service day on the new Primary Language Curriculum. School will therefore close for the pupils on Wednesday March 13th at the normal home times and will re-open on the following Wednesday, morning, March 20th.
