REMOTE LEARNING - JANUARY 2021 (from PRINCIPAL)
The current situation in the country regarding Covid-19 is very serious and schools have been instructed to remain closed until February 1st.
We have resumed our remote learning facility and I hope you will have noted the improved service we can offer through the use of Seesaw.
The children will find the work much more engaging and you will have enhanced contact with the teachers.
As before, we advise children and parents to do what they can, but please do engage with the learning as children can share their work and have a measure of social contact with their teacher.
We will have a basic work schedule on the web each week for information (please click HERE). However the main avenue of contact this time will be via teacher contact directly with their classes. This offers more tailored teaching and support. SEN support will be in conjunction with the class teacher, as will SNA support.
The book return went very well on Wednesday last and these are needed for the children to progress with their learning.
Some books remain uncollected. We can make an arrangement for these to be collected, you may contact the school through your teacher to arrange this.
If you have not contacted your class teacher to avail of Seesaw, please do so as a priority as your children are missing out on teaching and learning.
