Senior Infants in Room 21 went on a ‘Living Things’ walk and made a checklist of all the Living Things they could see around our school. We also had a local farmer come to visit with a lamb and some hens.
Junior Infants in Room 3 made cardboard shadow puppets and experimented with making shadows using torches and the whiteboard projector.
Room 3 also planted seeds in their classroom and discussed what the seeds would need to grow. They watered them every day and kept them on the window ledge so they would get lots of sun and warmth.
